What a photo session costs

Many photographers answer "on request". I would rather publish my prices, even if it means you decide this is not for you. Everything is in Swiss francs, retouching is paid per image, and nothing is decided once the session is over.

The four packages

Start from what the photos are for; the session format follows.

CV & LinkedIn photo Studio in Montreux, about 45 min, 2 retouched photos included — see the page CHF 150
Studio portrait Half a day, on your own, as a couple, with family or friends — see the page CHF 300
Outdoor session Half a day on the Swiss Riviera, in natural light, outfit changes included CHF 450
Architecture & interiors Full day, HDR processing, commercial usage rights included — see the page CHF 990
Maternity, newborn and family sessions follow the studio package (CHF 300) or the outdoor one (CHF 450), depending on where you would like to shoot.

Retouching

Paid per image, after you choose. You only pay for what you keep.

Basic — CHF 10

Colours, exposure, sharpness, crop. Finishing an image that already worked when it was taken.

Beauty — CHF 20

Basic retouching plus skin work: temporary blemishes, evening out the complexion. Your features stay yours.

Already included

The CV & LinkedIn session includes two retouched photos. For the other packages, retouching is ordered à la carte.

Why this way? Because a "20 retouched photos" package makes you pay for images you will never use. You choose first, you pay afterwards.

Questions about prices

What people ask before booking.

How much does a photographer cost in French-speaking Switzerland?
Rates vary widely with the service and the experience. Here, a CV photo is CHF 150, half a day in the studio CHF 300, half a day outdoors CHF 450 and a day of architecture photography CHF 990. Retouching is added per image, CHF 10 or 20.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The only possible extras are the full day (+CHF 150), travel beyond the region (CHF 1 per kilometre) and the hair and makeup option, all announced before the session. Retouching is the only item that depends on your choices afterwards.
How many photos are included?
Two retouched photos for the CV & LinkedIn session. For the studio and outdoor packages you receive all the unretouched images to make your selection, then order retouching for the ones you keep.
How does payment work?
The session fee is due on the day. Retouching is invoiced afterwards, once your selection is made. For company and architecture assignments, everything is set out in the quote before the work starts.
Can a session be given as a gift?
Yes, any package can be offered as a gift. Write to me with the chosen session and the name of the person, and I will prepare it.
Do you work with companies?
Yes: team portraits, premises, architecture, product images. For several colleagues or several sites, the price is quoted rather than charged per session.
